Hi there - I'm a production editor living the bibliophile dream.

I have experience in a wide range of tasks within the publication field. I have worked in magazine publication, book publication and social media marketing. I also have experience in proofreading and ghost writing. I am adaptive between different publishing stylebooks (Chicago Manual of Style, MLA and AP) and am proficient in working with publication software (Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite). I am also accustomed to working in Salesforce and other CRM applications.

I am a graduate from Clemson University (December 2018) with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in history. I previously worked as a writing intern for Clemson University Student Affairs Publications, and I am currently a production editor for The History Press in Charleston, SC. At Clemson, I was able to produce multiple magazines, co-manage social media accounts, edit copy for Campus Banner + Design (an on-campus graphic communications firm), ghost write for Clemson’s VP for the Division of Student Affairs, Almeda Jacks, and much more. At The History Press, I have been able to see hundreds of titles from intake to print. In this role, I have successfully worked with authors from all over the United States and have helped them achieve their goal of becoming a published writer. I am passionate about the importance of the written word and am honored to work in print media.
